Our Story

After graduating college in 2019, Maddie moved home with her parents in Granville. Being new to the area and having a hard time finding people to connect with the "old fashioned way", she downloaded a dating app. She matched with Curtis, who was living on the other side of town starting his career. They exchanged social media but didn’t meet "officially" until 2021. Over a year later, Curtis slid into Maddie’s DMs after she posted a photo of her and her friends drinking margaritas to celebrate her 25th birthday. He said, “Elderly folks have weaker stomachs, be careful with that marg mix…” and the rest is history. Their first date finally happened in February 2021, when Maddie was in town visiting her parents. As she pulled up to the date, she saw Curtis crossing the street and yelled “CURTIS!” out her car window. Three years, two cities, two cats, and one dog later, Curtis proposed on that same street corner, where he first saw the girl yelling his name and knew she was the one.
