Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
A great spot for a hike/trail walk and if you are lucky you might spot some whales! Entry is $10/car so we recommend going early and parking on the side of the road and entering from there.
The Hay
If you are a golf lover but don't want to commit to a full game, this is a really fun and casual par 3 in Pebble Beach designed by Tiger Woods. You will need to make a reservation and bring clubs. It is $65/person and there is a free putting course on site as well along with a wonderful restaurant.
Carmel Beach
If you want a great spot to walk on the beach, we would highly recommend heading down to Carmel Beach!
Poppy Hills Golf Course
A great public golf course in the Pebble Beach neighborhood.
Pelio Estate
A beautiful winery down in the valley (approx. 20 min from Carmel-by-the-Sea. They offer tastings and charcuterie.
Exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea
We love shopping and wandering up and down Ocean Avenue. Carmel has so many wonderful corners and spots to explore.

You can go kayaking with the seals in Monterey!
