The wedding venue sits at an elevation of around 6,000 feet above sea level. If you’re traveling from a lower elevation, you may notice the altitude a bit—common effects can include mild fatigue, shortness of breath, or dehydration. And of course always consult your doctor if you are concerned about traveling to an area with higher altitude than you're used to. To feel your best, we recommend drinking plenty of water, limiting alcohol intake (especially the first day), and giving yourself time to adjust if possible. Comfortable shoes and taking it easy on arrival can also help. Most guests adjust quickly and have no issues, but it’s always good to be prepared!
The closest airport is typically Grand Junction Regional Airport (about 1 hour away). For more flight options, guests may also consider Montrose Regional Airport (about 1.5 hours away).
