What is the venue like?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the Emel House at Scenic Beach State Park. We will primarily be outside on the lawn, but guests will have access to the indoor seating area and two indoor restrooms in the house. There are also vault toilets available near the parking lot. We will have the house and lawn to ourselves for the day, but the park also has a campground and beach that will be open to the public. The park gates close at dusk (9 pm), so the wedding will end at 8:30 pm. Depending on traffic, the venue is about 30 - 45 minutes from Poulsbo.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Casual Wedding Attire. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors at a State Park. Please be ready for the forecasted weather conditions. We'll be outside on the grass, so high heeled shoes aren't recommended.

Do I have to pay to enter Scenic Beach State Park?

Answer

Nope, this is covered! When you come through the entrance station, tell them you are attending the wedding.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Nope! We understand this wedding requires everyone to travel quite a ways, and we just look forward to celebrating in-person with those that can make it!

Yes! The whole family is welcome to all of the wedding events .
