Braydon and Maddie met at a YWAM school in Siloam Springs in 2024. She served as the cook and a volunteer for the program. At first, Braydon and Maddie interacted like brother and sister, often bickering playfully about who was superior at cooking and cleaning—though, according to Maddie (who is currently writing this), the answer was always her. Over time, they grew remarkably close. They frequently drove between Rogers and Siloam Springs, since both of their families lived in Rogers and the commute was convenient. Braydon was consistently a supportive presence in Maddie’s life, and although she knew he liked her, she refused to entertain the idea of dating—especially a student from the school. However, once the school term ended, Maddie realized how much she missed Braydon’s company. She began inviting him to various outings and texting him often, insisting it was all simply as friends. One night, restless and uncertain, Maddie prayed about what she should do, as she had begun developing deeper feelings for him. At the same time, Braydon was praying as well, asking God to help him see her purely as a sister in Christ and to respect the boundaries she needed. Clearly, God had a greater plan. That very night, Maddie texted Braydon and asked if he would like to go on a date with her. Shocked, he initially didn’t believe she was serious, but after she assured him she meant it, he took her to the lake and they spent the evening hammocking together. They have now been dating for almost a year and a half, and they are overjoyed to share this special day with you! Also surprise we didn't want to wait we have already eloped at an intimate ceremony; however, we couldn't just not share the love. We are having a ceremony with everyone to celebrate!
