Do I need a passport?
Answer
Every person traveling to Dominican Republic will need a valid passport book. If you do not have a passport book, you should apply for one ASAP as the process can take several months. For current processing times and additional info please visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html. Your passport book should not expire within 6 months AFTER travel. Even though your passport may be valid, the airline can deny boarding if your passport expires within 6 months AFTER travel. Do not risk it, renew if you are due!

Which airport do I fly into?
Answer
Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic is the closest major airport and the most economical option. PUJ is 41 miles (45-55 minute car ride) from the resort. Another option is La Romana Airport (LRM) but may have higher prices and more limited options. LRM is 10 miles (20-25 minute car ride) from the resort.

How do I book flights to Punta Cana or La Romana, Dominican Republic?
Answer
Please book flights directly with your preferred airline. Please ensure the name listed on your airline reservation matches your passport book exactly.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
Answer
Roundtrip airport transportation can be added to your hotel reservation at the time of booking. You may choose from shared or private. Please see the travel website for further details.

How do I RSVP to the wedding events?
Answer
Please go to the RSVP tab on this website and enter your name. Please also remember to book your room within our dedicated wedding group.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?
Answer
This is usually added to the RSVP when you choose your meal selection.

Is the resort all-inclusive?
Answer
Yes, the resort is all-inclusive and includes food, beverages, housekeeping, entertainment and more! Gratuities are optional and always appreciated so we encourage you to bring some cash.

What is the deadline to book my room within the wedding group and when are payments due?
Answer
Please secure your reservation by November 1, 2026 for $100 down. Final payments are due on or before December 8, 2026.

Do I have to stay at Secrets or Dreams La Romana to attend the wedding?
Answer
Yes it is required that wedding guests stay at either Secrets (adults only) or Dreams (kid friendly) La Romana in order to attend the wedding.

Do I have to book my room through the dedicated wedding group to attend wedding events?
Answer
Yes. To attend private wedding events, guests are required to book their room reservation via our dedicated room block. Please see the travel section for a direct link to book with our wedding group.

When do I need to arrive at the hotel?
Answer
It is highly recommended to arrive no later than 2 days prior to the wedding to ensure that you arrive in time for the wedding as well as our pre-wedding events.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Yes, you can bring kids but you will have to stay at Dreams next door to Secrets. Kids cannot go to the Secrets side of the resort or to any of the adult only areas. Some of the wedding events will be held on the Secrets (adults only) side so kids will not be able to attend those events.

Is there a dress code for the wedding? Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding day events will all be outdoors. Wedding day events suggest a beach formal attire. Think of light airy dresses and suites. Ties are optional. Shoes become optional during the reception on the beach. Indoor venues available in the event of severe weather.
