Telluride is about 2 and a half hours from The Black Diamond Lodge/Durango. We love Telluride in the fall - the gondola is free and runs 6:30 am to midnight on the weekends. The gondola connects Mountain Village and Telluride with gorgeous views of the fall colors :)
