Caleb and I had known of each other for several years, due to having mutual friends and attending the same church in the past. However, we had never truly spoken to each other until spring of 2017 when he walked into Impact Life Church. We started talking after the service and we instantly clicked! I told him about a "young adults" small group that I was leading and he was DEFINITELY interested. (The group sounded kind of interesting too.) ;-) The rest is history. We started off as "just friends" and ended up as inseparable soul mates! Caleb won my heart over with his incredible love for the Lord, handsome eyes, crazy sense of humor and beautiful bouquets of flowers! My darling, I will love you forever! xoxo
02 February, 2019: A day I will never forget! Caleb had me convinced that we were going to his Grandma's Birthday dinner at the "Henderson" hotel, however, that was not the case! When I arrived, Caleb asked me to go look at the sunset with him, which I said no to at first, because it was windy outside and I didn't want to mess up my hair! He persisted, asking me a second time to go with him outside, so I finally gave in. When we rode the elevator, all seemed normal, until the doors opened: he had candles and flower petals leading out to the rooftop terrace of the Henderson! While music was playing, he led me to a gorgeous heart made of flowers. It was so romantic! He got on one knee, just like the moments I've seen in movies, but this moment, was actually our moment and it was so beautiful & exciting! Our photographer friend, Fantasia, captured some incredible photos, while Caleb's sister, Sydney, filmed the whole engagement! After he proposed, we had a "surprise" engagement party in the hotel's restaurant, with some close family and friends! I couldn't have asked for a better way to start off our new journey together--it was so much fun!
