Flight
✈️ Getting to Portland (PWM) The good news: travel here is easy! Portland International Jetport (PWM) is just 10 minutes from Thompson’s Point and downtown hotels. Once you land, you’re practically at the wedding already 🎉. ⚠️ Important: Be sure to book flights to Portland, Maine (PWM) — not Portland, Oregon (PDX). We love the West Coast, but it’s a little far for our big day 😉. Transportation Options: 🚗 Car rentals are available right at the airport. While much of Portland’s Old Port is walkable, having a car makes it so much easier if you’d like to explore beyond downtown. 🚕 Taxis & rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are readily available outside baggage claim.
Travel Note
We chose our room block in South Portland due to the price point (and because we’ll have limited free time during the weekend). However, if you’re hoping to experience Portland to the fullest, the Old Port is the most iconic area to stay—though it also tends to be the most expensive. If you’re planning to extend your trip, we recommend looking in the Old Port for accommodations like an Airbnb, VRBO, or a local B&B. If you’d prefer a hotel in the Old Port, Lena has a discount code available—just reach out to her directly for the link at (207) 538-1909. (To avoid confusion, we didn’t include the discount link on the wedding website.)

Airbnb or VRBO in the Portland area is also a great option! Note: the best part of Portland is the Old Port. If you're looking to spend a bit more money, the Old Port accommodations are always great!
