FAQs

The Wedding Website of Madeleine Bitting and Samuel Spencer
If you have any questions that aren't listed here, please reach out to our wedding planner, Morgan, at kaloseventplanning@gmail.com.
Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will be held indoors on the third floor of the sporting complex. You may need to walk through a bit of grass to reach your seat at the ceremony, so please select shoes with that in mind.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Short and long dresses are both acceptable, as are suits, dress shirts, and ties. Ladies shoes should be capable of traversing a small amount of grass and brick pavers. Please do not wear jeans or a white dress and you'll be set for success.

Question

Will Transportation be provided?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. The venue (Commons Park) is less than 10 minutes from the Royal Inn Hotel, and Ubers and Lyfts will be available for those who prefer not to drive. We encourage guests to carpool when possible to avoid any tempation to drive after too many beverages.

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is at Commons Park, located at 11600 Poinciana Blvd in Royal Palm Beach, FL. When you arrive, please gather at the ceremony space circled in green on the map above. Follow the music and you should find our DJ and other guests. Cocktail hour will be held outside after the ceremony in the patio area circled in dark blue. After cocktail hour, we will reconvene on the third floor of the sporting complex, circled in light blue. Our wedding planner, Morgan, will let everyone know where to go.

Question

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

We are having Cuban food catered buffet style by Padrinos, one of our favorite restaurants. Entrees will include ropa vieja (slow cooked shredded beef), lechon asado (roasted pork), and pollo enchilado (slow cooked chicken with chilis). Sides will include salad, yellow and white rice, black beans, broccoli, sweet plantains, and yuca. Tres leches cake, flan, and key lime pie will be served for dessert.
