We met at Northwest Nazarene University in 2018 during our freshman year. Although we participated in numerous music activities together, we weren't very close until the beginning of the pandemic. We had talked on and off while assisting with worship music on campus towards right after the start of 2020, but as everyone experienced, the pandemic changed many things, sending us home from college. Fast forward to the beginning of our junior year, we were both Residential Assistants in different dorms. This meant that we had to be back early before the beginning of the semester. We both seemed eager to get to know one another even more, which progressed into a few dates. Soon enough, we started dating on September 10 of our junior year. Through the many difficulties of 2020, we were both so grateful for the new journey that was ahead of us. On October 10 of our senior year, we got engaged! As June 4 quickly approaches, we are both very excited to have each other for the rest of our lives. We are both graduating from Northwest Nazarene University in May. Madeleine will be working at St. Lukes in Boise as a registered nurse while Riley works towards his masters degree at NNU. Madeleine loves Riley’s compassionate nature, fun-loving personality, willingness to adventure, and humility. Riley loves Madeleine’s heart, her adventerous spirit, and the ways she loves on others. Riley also loves Madeleine’s voice, as they both have had the chance to participate in musical activities together at college. They both are very excited for this new chapter together and can’t wait to share their special day with all of you!
