Daniel's Cottage is a secluded private residence with access via Main Street in Salisbury. Our summer community is wooded, natural, and… without electricity. Feel free to bring your favorite flashlight, though there will be plenty provided. The access road is quite rugged and features a sharp drop off of one edge. For this reason, we ask those planning to imbibe to carpool with a designated sober driver. We love you all far too much to allow an accident to occur.
Due to limited access to the venue we ask that all guests park in the designated lot near, but not at, Daniel’s Cottage. Plan to walk up a short dirt road after parking. Limited shuttling via golf carts will be provided.
The ceremony will be indoors. Cocktails will be outdoors and the reception will be in a large tent.
Please visit our Things To Do page for ideas. There are endless opportunities for hiking, dining, exploring, and more.
Yes, we will provide lighted walkways and flashlights for individual use. Additionally, with the noise we plan to make, no need to fear large, medium, or small animals anywhere near us.
Guests not staying on the mountain are asked to please refrain from swimming or entering the lakes, streams, or dam spillway in any way. Our community is currently experiencing an extremely high transmission risk of invasive aquatic species, particularly Hydrilla. To keep our lakes safe, please stay on land!
