Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-focused celebration. We understand that in some cases, guests may not be able to attend if they are unable to bring their children due to far travel, lack of child care, etc. So, we kindly ask that families reach out to us directly if they are hoping to bring children, as any exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for understanding!

What is the attire?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. Gentlemen are welcome to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie. Ladies may wear a midi dress or long gown.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, shuttle service will begin at the hotels to bring guests to the ceremony and last shuttle will leave the venue at 1:00am to return to the hotels. Shuttles will be available throughout the night starting at 9:00pm for those who wish to leave earlier than 1:00am.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and cocktail hour will be outdoors on the wrap around patio of the reception villa. The reception villa is a short walk from the ceremony site.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, please see RSVP page for which options are gluten free and dairy free. Please be sure to specify when you RSVP if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.

What is the best airport to fly into if I am coming from out of state?

Answer

Ronald Reagan National (DCA) is the closest. BWI is another close option. Both ~1 hour from the hotels.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor reception.

What is the weather typically like this time of year?

Answer

October in Southern Maryland is one of the most beautiful times of the year. Expect mild, crisp fall temperatures—typically ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s during the day, and cooler in the evenings. While we hope for clear skies, please check the forecast closer to the date and bring a light jacket or wrap, especially for our outdoor ceremony.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you put away phones and cameras during the vows. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully!
