Things To Do

Saugatuck Brewing Company

2948 Blue Star Highway, Douglas, MI 49406

New Holland Brewing - Holland Brewpub

66 East 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423

New Holland Brewing Company produces some unique Western Michigan beers and excellent spirits. Sit in the beer garden if you can!

Saugatuck Center for the Arts

400 Culver Street, Saugatuck, MI 49453

Deboer Bakkerij

360 Douglas Avenue, Holland, MI 49424

DeBoer's is the best breakfast place in town. It is always packed on Saturday mornings, but well worth the wait and you can grab coffee in the meantime. They have a great sit down breakfast, but are also known for their specialty bakery items. Do yourself a favor and get the Klompencakes (aka GIANT pancakes). They also have a location near downtown (South Side) that is just coffee/bakery items/breakfast sandwiches.

Tunnel Park

Lakeshore Avenue, Holland, MI 49424

If you want to go and see the water, we recommend Tunnel Park. The views are beautiful - it's a great place to catch the sunset, or soak up the sun during the day. There are also volleyball nets and play structures at the park, too!

Holland Farmers Market

150 West 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423

The Holland Farmers Market is home to nearly 100 vendors throughout the season. Local farmers offer freshly-picked fruits and vegetables of every variety, beautiful bouquets of flowers and plants for home and garden. A wide variety of baked goods, all natural honey and maple syrup and farm fresh cheese, eggs, and meats are also available, in addition to sweet treats, gourmet specialty foods and much more! The Market is open from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm every Wednesday and Saturday.

Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant

216 Van Raalte Avenue, Holland, MI 49423

The restaurant with the best view - Boatwerks! Boatwerks sits on the edge of Lake Macatawa and you can enjoy your meal from the large patio.

Saugatuck Dunes State Park

6575 138th Avenue, Holland, MI 49423

Mt. Pisgah - Historic Ottawa Beach

2238 3rd Avenue, Holland, MI 49424

Mount Pisgah is a 275 stair climb to some beautiful views of both Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa. Definitely worth the effort but afterwards, you can always grab an ice cream at the nearby General Store to cool down if we get a beautiful fall weekend.

Shop Downtown Holland

Experience Holland’s unique mix of retail. Independently-owned boutiques line downtown’s 8th Street, selling a variety of items! You’ll find breweries, cafes, cute shops and boutiques…you can easily spend an entire day perusing all the fun stops on this brick-paved street.

Ferris Coffee

Ferris coffee is a local favorite with everything made in nearby Grand Rapids. Conveniently located downtown so you can grab a coffee and shop around!

Windmill Restaurant

28 West 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423

For a classic Holland experience, consider having your morning or mid-day meal at this restaurant. The Windmill Restaurant is a casual diner that serves up breakfast and lunch, and many of its meals are based on old family recipes.
