We met in downtown Charleston, where we both were students at the College of Charleston. Grayson and I met the night of my sorority’s spring formal at a get together at his college house. Grayson and I just clicked! We danced and flirted all night, and of course, the rest is history! After our first official date, we knew that we had an inseparable bond. We have been together ever since!

Grayson and I love to travel whenever we can! When we first started dating, our first adventure together was to Washington, D.C. and of course, we had a blast venturing around the city together! Last spring we returned to D.C. and this is where the story begins. Grayson proposed to me on March 13, 2017 in the gardens of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. He had been working up a plan for months, and with a little help from my best friend and Maid of Honor, Elizabeth Cox, he was able to completely surprise me! As I was taking in the beautiful Cathedral and gardens around me, I looked over and there he was, down on one knee. Before he could even say anything, I said YES! After the proposal, Elizabeth popped out of the gardens to surprise me, which meant the world to me and we were so happy to share this memory together!
