Madeleine and Dillon would likely have never crossed paths in the pre-internet dating era. After all, Madeleine is a singing, horseback riding country girl; Dillon's a Lamborghini-loving city kid with a distaste for animal hair. Madeleine served her mission in tropical Indonesia, while Dillon was fighting frostbite and admiring the Northern Lights in Alaska. They wouldn't have met at a sports event (Madeleine doesn't frequent them) and the theatre would have been just as unlikely (not really Dillon's vibe). They both live in Utah, but 45 minutes apart, so the gym or the grocery store wouldn't have provided a meet-cute. They had no common stomping grounds or mutual friends. Had it not been for the good ol' internet, these two lives may have never intersected. But they did. And here we are. The two met up for dinner on December 27th, 2021 and have been practically inseparable ever since. Now Madeleine owns a Jimmy Garoppolo football jersey and Dillon is obsessed with a little Palomino mare named Annie. Isn't it interesting how a person can expand when they meet the right one?
