FAQs

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We will have a Semi-Formal dress code for our wedding day. Our venue is completely outside with various walking substrates (grass, cement, and wood chips) so please wear sensible shoes! It does get a bit chilly in the evening, so bring a light jacket if you need it (you can leave it in the car for the ceremony). Ladies, please refrain from wearing white or light colors that are close to white.

Question

Can I bring a guest that is not on the invitation?

Answer

Since we are trying to keep our wedding relatively small, we will not be able to accommodate extra guests who are not on the invitation or in the online RSVP form.

Question

Do you have a room block?

Answer

We do! We will be staying at the Carter House Inns in Eureka, CA. Please call (707) 883-1813 and let them know you are part of the wedding! Make sure to make your reservation BEFORE May 1st, 2026.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

You are welcome to Uber or Lyft to the venue, and there will be enough parking for all of our guests if you plan to drive yourself. There is a bit of a windy road, so make sure to take your time getting here and back!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! While we do not expect any gifts, we understand that some of you may want to celebrate our marriage with a gift. Please visit the "Registry" tab on this website for ideas. Since this is technically a "Destination Wedding" for us, please do not bring physical gifts to our wedding. However, we will have a card box available on the day of the wedding, should you like to gift us money or a gift card.

Question

What is there to do in Humboldt County?

Answer

Since this is the first time many of you have been to Humboldt County, we created a guide to Humboldt for our guests. Please visit the "Things to Do" tab on this website and click the "View" button to access the guide. The guide contains our favorite restaurants, hikes, and other things to do in Humboldt County.
