The closest airport is SJC (about 45 minutes from Santa Cruz). SFO is about 1.5 hours away. We'd recommend getting a rental car if you don't live in the area (we don't plan on getting a shuttle between Santa Cruz and the venues unless enough people are interested). We left time between the ceremony and the reception for you to get lunch or walk around Carmel. We'd recommend walking along Scenic Rd. starting from Ocean Ave. & Scenic.
