Maddy and Mackenzie met during their first year playing soccer when they were 5. They have been best friends every since! So many memories have been created and shared. Their friendship has survived throughout the years and has stayed strong even after Mackenzie moved across the country to Portland, Oregon. Having Mackenzie stand next to her on her big day was the easiest decision for Maddy, second to deciding to marry Charlie! When asked what she is most excited for, Mackenzie said "I can't wait to see Maddy in her dress and see her and Charlie get married".
Ethan Karls

Charlie and Ethan have been good friends since childhood. They became very close friends while playing hockey and having classes together. Charlie and Ethan both attended UW-Platteville after high school and were able to continue that friendship over the years. Charlie can't wait to share his special day with Ethan.
Toni Groenier
Bridesmaid
Maddy met Toni shortly after meeting Charlie. Toni is Charlie's brother's wife and Charlie and Maddy's neighbor. Toni and Maddy spend a lot of time together shopping for things they don't need, talking about dogs, and watching the Bachelor/Bachelorette. They have become very close during the last several years and both get to continue through life as Mrs. Groeniers! When asked what she is most excited about, Toni said she is most excited "to get a sister & a brother so I can be an aunt".
Zach Eyers

Charlie and Zach have known each other as long as Charlie can remember. They became very close over the years as they both went to Oregon and were in the same grade. Charlie and Zach also shared a common passion in hockey and played together through high school. Charlie is very excited to have Zach by his side on his wedding day.
Morgan Phillips
Bridesmaid
Maddy met Morgan their freshman year at Platteville during soccer. They then became suitemates during their sophomore year before Morgan transferred to nursing school. Morgan and Maddy got along so well because Morgan "loves everyone equally". Maddy and Morgan share many inside jokes and memories from Platteville and have made trips between Wisconsin and Iowa to remain good friends. When asked what she was most excited for, Morgan said "I am most excited to see a love I watched grow in college turn into a lifelong marriage".
Kyle Buresch
Groomsman
Charlie and Kyle met while playing hockey at UW-Platteville. Charlie and Kyle quickly became good friends while sharing many drives to practices and games in Charlie's "Mom" van. They spent many weekends together whether it was during hockey games, hanging out at the hockey house, or down on 2nd street. Charlie is very excited to share this important day with Kyle by his side.
Faith Alloy

Maddy met Faith during her second year at Platteville. They instantly became friends, and soon spent every weekend together because Charlie and Faith's boyfriend both played hockey for UW-Platteville. If they weren't already together, Maddy and Faith would make frequent trips to McDonald's and Subway for late night snacks and watch a lot of (terrible) reality TV shows. When asked what she is most excited for, Faith said "I’ve known them both for about the same amount of time so I’ve been able to see their relationship grow. I’m excited to see two people who are meant to be together on their special day".
Tyler Mortenson

Charlie and Tyler were neighbors growing up and quickly formed a strong friendship. They were always at each others houses and playing sports together. They were able to stay in touch after high school and Charlie spent 3 spring breaks visiting Tyler at college in Florida. Charlie is very excited that Tyler will be apart of his wedding.
Samantha Flogel

Maddy met Samantha during her junior year of high school when they were on the same club soccer team. Maddy and Sam instantly became good friends, despite going to different schools. They spent a lot of time together on and off the field and made sure to keep in touch throughout college. When asked what she is most excited for, Sam said "I'm most excited to see the look on Charlie’s face when he sees Maddy in her beautiful dress".
