Bailey Balmer

Maid of Honor

How we met: Bailey and I were born 1 month apart. Our moms were best friends in high school, our dads ran at UTA together, and our grandmas are best friends. So, I have had a built-in best friend since birth. Fun fact: Bailey’s mom and my mom were each other’s maids of honor, and here we are. Most likely to be: making sure everybody is having fun, in a very loud and aggressive way.

Jesse Marcangelo

Best Man

Jesse is my friend that has matured the most. We met at lake Arlington at age 13, in our underwear, pulling a lawn mowed out from the depths of the lake. We grew up though high school getting into all kinds of fun from throwing TVs off of bridges to car chases in his minivan that ended in a PIT maneuver. Some how he was able to talk an amazing woman into marrying him and start a family of his own. Jesse is a remarkable Father, husband, and best friend I will continue to look up to the rest of my life. Most likely to: drink the bar dry of Modelo.

Payton Brown

Maid of Honor

How we met: Payto and I met on the medal stand at a track meet in Florida in 2008. Payto got 6th place and I got 8th place, so we were standing next to each other. Little did we know that two years later I would join her cross-country team, Lake Cities. We have been best friends since 7th grade, we followed each other to college, lived with each other for 5 years and now we live in the same apartment complex. I just can’t seem to get enough of her. Most likely to be: Taking a tequila shot with Martin.

Martin Lopez

Groomsman

Martin and I met like most others, through running, and eventually being my roommate for 3 years. There are far too many memories to mention just one, however, they usually involved singing way too loud, drinking one too many beers, and getting rowdy at some sort of sporting event. Martin is one of the most selfless people I have ever met, he always puts others first, engages in intellectual conversation and always make sure we never forget to relax and be a kid every once in a while. We have gotten to transition from reckless college guys into professional young adults together and I couldn’t ask for a better person to have on that journey. Most likely to be: ordering 20 tequila shots from the bar for a group cheers.

Miciah Enger

Matron of Honor

How we met: Miciah joined that same cross-country team Payto and I were on in 8th grade. To be honest I thought she was a little quirky at first, but soon realized she was going to be one of my best friends for life. Miciah is one of the most selfless, love filled humans I have had the pleasure of spending life with. Most likely to be: showing people @just_robert_things_ Instagram page. Yes, this is a plug. Like, follow, and subscribe.

Christian Culpepper

Groomsman

Culpepper and his family have treated me as an extra son since day one. From living at their house on the weekends, tagging along on family vacations and attending to the annual soup party. Culpepper has always treated me as a brother and someone I can seek advice and wisdom from. I can always count on him to understand my crude humor and hit the links for an afternoon 9. Most Likely to be: going to bed at 10 PM

Hagan Luedtke

Bridesmaid

How we met: Dawn and Tena (Hagan’s mom) met while camping in a parking lot for days in order to get Hagan and I into an elementary school that we were not zoned for. Naturally, they became besties, so the first day of kindergarten we were told to become best friends and that’s exactly what we did. We have had quite the adventures together, from soccer tryouts to black diamond wipe outs and all of the beaches in between. Most likely to be: the life of the party, dancing and singing her lungs out!

Cameron Villareal

Groomsman

Cameron is truly a brother from another mother, role model and mentor. We once used to suffer through 18+ mile runs together, thankfully we now only nerd out over engineering and hoop in the gym. Cameron is responsible for helping me develop a passion for running and engineering both. His accomplishments in both athletic and academic field are beyond admirable. His optimist attitude and incredible work ethic are contagious and inspiring to everyone who surrounds him. I am very grateful for him and his family accepting a wedo as one of their own. Most likely to be: talking about his pet mice (ask him about it).

Sydney Moehn

Bridesmaid

Favorite memory: Syd and I were roommates for every single travel race in college. All my favorite memories with Syd involve going to get coffee and shopping in the new cities that we travelled to for races. A personal favorite of ours was always Palo Alto. Seattle had some good moments too ;) Now I get to watch her be a beautifully inspiring mother to EJ and I absolutely love it. Most likely to be: requesting the DJ to play “Side Pony” by Lake Street Dive

Henry Butz

Groomsman

Henry and I share a special bond and a birthday. In 2018 we grew incredibly close as we helped each other through a rough time in both of our lives. Through running, trips to 7th street with the TCU team, and even a valentine’s dinner while Madeleine was in Arkansas, we were able to let loose and focus on the positives in life. Butz is a great friend who has helped me when I needed it the most and I will be forever grateful for his friendship. Most likely to be finger inch worming on the dance floor or doing some other “dance move” you’ve never seen before.

Monica Marcangelo

Bridesmaid

How we met: Monica is also a beautifully inspiring mother to mine and Tyler’s cutie god son, Jamie. Monica is one of Tyler’s oldest best friends since middle school. I met her and Jesse for the first time on our way to an All Time Low concert in 2017. That same night, Tyler asked me to be his girlfriend while Jesse and Monica were waiting patiently to find out if I said yes. Most likely to be: the only one on the dance floor with Tyler and I when the DJ plays some sort of emo/screamo song.

Connor Butterfield

Groomsman

Connor started as a teammate of mine, transitioned to a roommate and now a best friend. Living together we essentially got to grow into adults together. We shared the journey from broke college athletes and boyfriends who were in long distance relationships to working professionals with marriage on the horizon. I am very grateful to have such a great vacation partner, board game connoisseur and pick-up sports enthusiast as a friend. Most likely to be: changing into flip flops for the reception.

Abby Gray

Bridesmaid

Favorite memory: Freshman year of college, Abby, Taylor, Payton, and I would return to our dorm room after dinner and have dance parties 5/7 nights of the week. We would light up the disco ball, turn on some 90’s R&B, and dance on top of all the furniture until we could not breathe anymore. It was the best! Most likely to be: Busting out some classic dance moves from freshman year. Queue “Closer” by The Chainsmokers.

Pop Danner

Groomsman

This man, I owe all of my success to. Pop has been nothing but supportive through my entire life. He was my #1 fan through my running career, he has traveled the entire U.S. to support and cheer me on, on any occasion he could. He ensured I had everything I needed to be successful in both life and school. From laptops, printers, school supplies and even a suit for my first interview. Pop has done everything in his power to set me up for success in life. He has taught me many life lessons ranging from finances, car maintenance, and how to remain loyal to the same woman for 50+ years. Pop is my greatest role model in life, a best friend and the most kick ass grandpa on this planet. Most likely to be: outside admiring the getaway car.

Kasey Hedrick

Bridesmaid

How we met/Favorite memory: I met Kasey when she was born, because she’s my little cousin (aww). All of my favorite memories with Kasey are probably at our grandparent’s lake house, tubing, jumping on the trampoline, playing cards with Kimmy and Grammy, etc. I have adored watching Kasey grow into the beautiful woman that she is becoming! Most likely to be: Dancing with Halin for the TikTok they are filming.

Carter Reed

Groomsman

Lets be real, this is the real reason I'm marrying Madeleine, on February 11th I gain another brother. Carter and I met in a Cane's parking lot roughly 6 years ago as he was chugging a gallon of sweet tea. Carter is always the life of the party and keeps me in touch with my youth. He has already been a fantastic brother and will be a great uncle to any future Forde children. I look forward to growing old with this dude and the life of trouble we get ourselves into. Most likely to let me sleep on his couch when Madeleine is mad at me.

Halin Griffith

Bridesmaid

Favorite memory: Halin was and still is the funniest little sister I always wanted. All my favorite memories involve Halin belly laughing at something Hagan and I were forcing her to do or say. Such as, telling her to say words like “bench” and “sit”, but she could not pronounce them correctly and therefore resulted in her saying bad words. Sorry Tena. Most likely to be: Filming a TikTok on the dance floor.

Michael Guerrero

Groomsman

Mike is my friend that I arguably have the most fun with. Mike is one of the most driven individuals I have ever met, when he sets his mind on something he will truly go all in on whatever that is. Also, a roommate of mine in the past the memories I cherish the most are the random Wednesday night ragers, putting dollars in a drag queens’ waistbands, super smash bros, 22-mile runs, and being responsible idiots together. Mike is always down to clown and always challenges you to push your limits… both in good and bad ways. I’m sure at one point every one of the groomsmen thought we would be on the stage getting married instead of Madeleine. Most likely to end up behind the bar serving up drinks that will blow your mind.

Evelynn & Charlotte

Flower Girl

Favorite memory: Evelynn and Charlotte are our old neighbors that are just to die for!! One time for Christmas I got Evelyn a fish tank with a beta fish because she always loved my pet fish! She named that beta fish… Feliz Navidad. R.I.P. Feliz Navidad. Most likely to be: doing cartwheels, ballerina spins, and summer saults on the dance floor.
