If you have other questions please reach out to us! We're happy to answer any questions you may have!
Question

How do we get there?

Answer

NatureBridge is in Olympic National Park near Port Angeles on the peninsula. From Seattle, you take the Edmonds/Kingston ferry and drive out. We recommend carpooling as it is a few hour drive and there is parking for about 40 cars at NatureBridge.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

All wedding events (night before and ceremony) are summer formal! Basically cocktail or semi-formal (think dresses and nice pants, jacket and button down- can even be a short sleeve button down!) the evenings can get a little breezy and cold so plan for that. For all other time at NatureBridge, we want people to be comfortable while in the outdoors! The ceremony will take place on grass so please keep that in mind for shoe wear. All other time at NatureBridge can be spent swimming, hiking, hanging out or playing lawn games so pack for the activities you want to do!

Question

Can we swim at the lake?

Answer

Yes! We will be on the beautiful shores of Lake Crescent! NatureBridge asks us not to swim right off of their shore but to walk the quick 5 minute path to Barnes Point. We will provide maps for anyone interested. You are also welcome to bring paddle boards, floaties or other water sport activities! You may use NatureBridge's dock to launch from!

Question

I’m staying in a cabin, what should I bring?

Answer

Cabins will have a bed pad and linens. To be the most comfortable we recommend bringing a sleeping bag or blanket (it’s August but we’re on the peninsula so it may be a little cooler!) and a pillow.

Question

Who will I be in a cabin with?

Answer

We will be placing people in rooms together that we think they will be comfortable with and know. If you have special requests shoot us a text :) we want everyone to be comfortable and have a good time.

Question

What is in the cabins? What are the sleeping arrangements?

Answer

The cabins have bunk beds (each cabin has a different amount- between 4-8 bunks) and a bathroom. The older historic cabins have tubs with handheld showers. The newer dorm style cabins have large dorm style bathrooms with stalls and showers and plugs for hair dryers and styling tools. The cabins have sleeping pads and linens. They will not have shampoos, soaps, or other hotel style amenities.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes!

Question

What if I can't stay for the whole weekend?

Answer

That's totally ok! We would love for you to join in whatever events you can. For the sake of our catering numbers, please let us know via your RSVP which days you will be joining for.

Question

What if I don't want to stay in the cabins?

Answer

We realize not everyone is down for adult summer camp sleeping arrangements- that's fine! If you plan to find other accommodations please let us know so we can create bunk assignments accordingly.

Question

Are dogs welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, dogs are not able to be in any of the buildings at NatureBridge. While they are allowed on leashes in the park they are not able to be in any buildings so we ask you to leave them at home for the weekend.

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

If you'd like to see the menu for the whole weekend you can here! https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Ysfvrn2yq8jR4hE3taUEHaVzd38sG9-/view?usp=sharing
