We met online but before meeting each other we spent over a week texting each other and then another week talking over the phone and sharing our interests and goals for our life. Everything we both said was so similar Casey decided three days before Christina moved to Seattle to come down and meet for our first date. We spent the day before Memorial Day together. She took him to some water in her college town which happened to have a boat race she didn’t know existed. He was so excited and we both agreed it was the best first date we had. He then decided to propose at the same place exactly 2 years during the same boat race!

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went back to our old stomping grounds to watch the boat race. Casey decided to cook food again and wrote on cards everything he was thankful for about Christina. She turned around and he was down on one knee and she said I DO!
