Nicholas and Ana met in the psychiatric emergency department at Lowell General Hospital in November of 2020. Treating patients in this unique setting during a pandemic as new employees brought them closer together. There’s no better way than to get to now each other than deescelating a combative patient! Nicholas didn’t think he had a chance, but once he found out Ana was interested in him, he decided to give her a chance. The first date at a steakhouse in Boston sealed the deal. A core memory that remains even to this day is that instead of sharing a goodnight’s kiss, Ana saluted Nicholas on the way to her apartment. What a first impression! The rest is history; they moved in together after 4 months of dating and adopted their first fury baby together, Apollo.
