Although we officially met at a Stepinac High School football game, we had admired each other's basketball skills from afar for years throughout middle school. Dinner and a movie on Central Park Avenue, and a date to Ursuline's Ring Day Dance helped to turn the couple from high school crushes to Facebook-official.

We spent months planning our dream vacation, a week-long Caribbean cruise leaving from Miami aboard the MSC Seaside. Little did I know, Danny had packed something extra in his carry-on bag for the flight to Miami! Some unexpected traveling issues caused Danny to switch the sunset dinner reservation to brunch at Smith and Wollensky the following day. After enjoying a delicious meal by the harbor where our cruise ship would set sail just a few hours later, we strolled along the South Pointe Pier toward the ocean. On our way back toward the restaurant, Danny asked me to take a picture of the Miami skyline. When I turned back around, Danny was down on one knee! We have dreamed of this day since we were 17 years old, and we cannot wait to share it with you!
