The Soon-To-Be Maxon's

FAQs

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Onsite parking will be available for all guests. A shuttle will also be running continuously from the parking area directly to the venue entrance for your convenience. Both our ceremony and reception will take place at the same location, so once you arrive, you can relax and celebrate with us all evening long :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on each invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation and RSVP. If a guest is not listed, we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate additional attendees. We truly appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to limited venue capacity we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on each invitation and RSVP. If your child’s name is included on your invitation, we would absolutely love to celebrate with them! If not, we kindly ask that you enjoy a night out with us. For the first portion of the evening, we’ll have plenty of family-friendly fun, dancing, and celebration so the kiddos can enjoy the party too. Later in the night, the dance floor and music will become a bit more geared toward the adults, so we recommend younger guests head home before the late-night festivities begin ;)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal We invite our guests to dress in their springtime best for our celebration. Think soft colors, florals, flowing dresses, linen, light fabrics, and classic southern charm. Ladies are encouraged to wear midi or floor-length dresses, floral prints, pastels, or bright spring colors. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits, sport coats, or dress shirts paired with slacks or nice denim and boots. Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we recommend choosing shoes suitable for grass and garden paths. While we love a good baseball cap around here, we kindly ask guests to leave casual hats and overly casual attire at home for the evening. Most importantly, come comfortable, come ready to celebrate, and come prepared to dance the night away with us <3

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, we’ll still be getting married! We have a beautiful backup plan in place to make sure the celebration continues comfortably no matter the weather. After all, a little rain is said to be good luck on a wedding day <3

Question

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that guests keep phones, cameras, and devices tucked away during the ceremony. We’ve hired an amazing photographer and content creator to capture every moment, and we would love for our guests to be fully present with us as we say “I do.” Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take all the photos and videos you’d like during the reception, and please send them to us!

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving drinks and celebrating all night long. Please celebrate responsibly and make arrangements for a safe ride home if needed. For the safety and comfort of all our guests, an onsite officer will be present throughout the evening. No outside alcohol will be permitted at the venue. We’re so excited to celebrate with everyone and want to make sure it’s a fun and safe night for all!
