Chris is Nick's brother and eight years older than him, but the spread between their weddings is about 20 years. Nick was the Best Man for Chris decades ago, and always knew he would want Chris to be his. The brothers share a love of tabletop and video games.

Maddy and Mallory clicked instantly with Kelsey when they became roommates sophomore year of college at Texas Tech. The three of them spent four years living together, establishing a sister-like relationship that continues with them being best friends today.

Nick met Robert in sixth grade and they've been close friends ever since. Though Robert likes to jet set and maintain residence in multiple cities, he always makes an effort to spend time with Nick and Maddy in Houston.
Haley Murrel

Haley and Maddy became best friends in high school. Maddy has leaned on Haley for support and friendship many times, including at Maddy's dad's funeral. They frequently visited each other's college towns and continue being present for each other's happy milestones today.

Nick and Xevier became friends sophomore year of high school. Xevier's was a frequent after-school hangout spot. They've remained close friends throughout college, their bar hopping days and now, their weddings.
Melissa Johnston

Maddy and Melissa became friends in seventh grade on a day when they both happened to stay home sick from school, leaving only each other to talk to on AIM. They've stayed close friends throughout the years, visiting in Houston, New Orleans, Boston and St. Louis.
Ross Sufi

Nick and Ross met in high school, and Ross was also a frequent participant of the after-school hangouts at Xevier's house. The three made it through a post-graduation roadtrip to California together, albeit barely, and the rest is history.
Ren Patrick

Ren became friends with Mallory in eighth grade, then their moms became best friends shortly after, making them all family friends. Ren and Maddy became like sisters, with all of the love for each other and none of the arguing.

Nick met Travis in middle school and loved being part of a friend group with his twin, Taylor, and several others who all remain close friends today. Nick was a groomsman in Travis' wedding in October 2020, which was the first wedding Maddy and Nick attended together.
Sarah Self-Walbrick

Maddy and Sarah became fast friends at Texas Tech University, where they both studied journalism and worked at The Hub@TTU. Maddy's only regret is not meeting Sarah early enough to be in her wedding, but they've made up for it numerous times over the years.

Nick became friends with Will during their freshmen year at UTSA, where they were in the same fraternity. They've remained close in the years since and most recently saw each other in Las Vegas, where Will was living at the time.

Mallory worked with Chris in Lubbock and along with Maddy, they quickly began going out, mainly to Chimy's. They became members of the funniest and most exclusive group chat to ever exist, which also includes Mallory, Kelsey and Ose Aligbe. It remains active 10 years later.
Bryant Dunn

Bryant is a close mutual friend of both Nick and Maddy. Bryant went to Maddy's high school, met Nick through their UTSA fraternity, then transferred to Texas Tech. Bryant and Nick lived in Houston after college, spending some time as roommates, which is how Nick and Maddy met. Major shout-out to Bryant!

Lander and Maddy became friends in middle school, though they debate whether it was seventh or eighth grade. They have stayed close ever since, with Lander being Maddy's "best guy friend." They went to prom together and Lander came to Lubbock for both of Maddy's graduation celebrations.
Pete Lesiak

Pete is the husband of Nick's sister, Lauren Palmarozzi, and father of Nick's nephew Julius, to whom Maddy is very excited to officially be an aunt. Lauren and Pete got married in 2022. Their first date was about a week after Nick and Maddy's, which Maddy has been quick to remind Nick about for almost four years now.
