Yes! We’ll have an open bar and hearty appetizers, so please come hungry.
There is a free parking lot next to Oak to Ember called Saint Peter's Square Parking. If that lot is full, Oak to Ember has a dedicated private lot behind Saint Peter's lot that is gravel—look for the sign at the entrance.
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. We recommend arriving by 5:30 pm to give yourself time to get settled and enjoy the grounds. Shuttle service will drop guests off at 5:30 pm.

Pickups will be from: Boston Marriott Peabody (Peabody) Ocean House Hotel at Bass Rocks (Gloucester) Hotel at Cape Ann Marina (Gloucester) If you’re staying elsewhere, feel free to drive or take a rideshare to one of these pickup locations. Yes. Parking is available at The Crane Estate for guests who prefer to drive.
The dress code for our wedding is black-tie optional. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will take place outdoors on the Crane Estate grounds, so guests should plan for walking on grass. We recommend shoe choices that are lawn-friendly.
Most of the evening will take place outdoors and under the tent. There will be heaters in the tent. The Great House will be open throughout the night, and dancing will take place inside. Since late September evenings can be cool on the North Shore, we recommend bringing a layer.
No—all of our events are for adults only.
We recommend renting a car to explore Cape Ann over the wedding weekend. Shuttle service will be provided on Saturday evening, but having a car will make getting around easier. That said, a car isn't required. Guests can take the MBTA commuter rail from Boston (North Station) to Gloucester and use Uber or Lyft to get around during their stay.
