we're getting married!

Will and Maddy’s love story began in 2022, when fate brought them together on the North Shore of O'ahu. Both had relocated to Hawaii to join their siblings and started working at the same resort. Will worked at the front desk, conveniently located right next to Maddy’s spot at the concierge. Little did they know, their casual conversations and shared laughs would turn into something truly magical. For months, their friendship blossomed—filled with inside jokes, flirtatious banter, and moments of connection that felt like they were meant to be. By June 2023, they decided to take things further and went on their first date—sipping red wine on the beach, watching the sun set into the Pacific right across the street from what would soon become their first apartment together. A year later, Will proposed during a trip to Maui to celebrate their anniversary. He chose a quiet beach that was meaningful to Maddy, and as they walked along the shore, he surprised her with flowers growing out of the sand in the shape of a heart. It was the perfect, intimate moment, and of course, she said "yes." By the end of last year, with their hearts full and ready for new adventures, Will and Maddy decided it was time to move back to the mainland to be closer to family. Now, they’re settling into their new life in San Diego, looking forward to the future and everything it holds—together. It seems almost impossible that two people, so far apart geographically, would meet on a small island in the middle of the Pacific. But their story is a testament to God's plan—and to the fact that love, no matter how unexpected, always finds a way. Their journey together has truly been an answer to both of their prayers, and it’s just the beginning of what’s sure to be a lifetime of adventure, joy, and endless love.
