Savannah/Hilton Head Airport is about a 20 minute drive away. Unless you plan on exploring outside of the city, a rental car isn’t necessary and there is Uber/Lyft available. 

There are lots of hotels, inns and AirBnB’s in Savannah at all price points. We recommend staying close to the historic district to take advantage of how walkable the city is!
