Wedding Party

Who will be walking down the aisle with us?

Matt Fouard

Best Man

Scotty met Matt in middle school and they have been best friends ever since. Matt is one of the funniest, kindest, and most unhinged people you will ever meet. Although he has lived in various parts of the world for the last decade, anytime they talk on the phone they "gossip like little girls for hours" according to Maddy. Scotty could not imagine getting married without him, although his response to the bride and groom when being told their wedding date was 'I think I can make that.'

Alice Edwards

Maid of Honor

While Maddy and Alice met in Bellingham in college, they grew closer after both moving to Seattle and bonding over their shared love of cats, food and wine. As going more than a week without seeing eachother feels downright weird, Alice was an obvious choice to be by Maddy's side on her special day. During her free time Alice enjoys reading, and thinking of embarrasing stories to put into her maid of honor speech. There will now be no maid of honor speech.

Ty Presto

Groomsman

Ty is another one of Scotty's middle school friends. During high school they didn't keep in touch as much, but reconnected in Bellingham and bonded through late night discussions of "Meme Culture" fueled by Jäger bombs and Rainier beer (sorry mom). Though they sometimes won't see each other for months at a time, they have the type of friendship that picks up exactly where it left off when they finally reconnect.

Nick Hopkins

Bridesperson

The brides favorite (only) sibling. Nick is smart, talented, and Maddy loves him so much. Maddy is forever grateful for not being robbed of the opportunity to have a sibling growing up, even if she was not very grateful for it in her early years as they were locked in verbal debates regarding literally anything and everything. Nick holds onto their talent and love for debate, and may be spotted arguing politics with the brides step-grandpa.

Patrick Christiansen

Groomsman

Through a shared love of food, wine, games, and just straight up vibing, Patrick has become one of Scotty's very closest friends over the last half decade. Scotty's favorite things to do with Patrick include: arguing about the definition of skydiving, playing obscene party games, and adding to Scotty's ever increasing losing streak in pool.

Tiffany Bailey

Bridesmaid

Having met in the last few years through a re-aquainted highschool classmate of Maddy's (Nate - see groom side), Maddy is so grateful for whatever dating app brought them together as it brought Tiffany into her life. Smart, empathetic and funny, Tiffany has been someone Maddy can talk to anything about. In her freetime, Tiffany can be found teaching her dog Shatzi new tricks, and secretly working to narrate Alices growing collection of kindle books (unsubstantiated at the moment). If Nate and Tiffany break up, Maddy will be choosing Tiffany. Sorry Nate.

Stephen Woche

Groomsman

Stephen has been one of Scotty's closest (and tallest) friends since middle school. In the early days, most of their conversations revolved around music, absurdist humor, and Halo 3—although not much has changed in that regard. Nowadays, they try to get together for a jam sesh every now and then and although they sometimes go a year between meetups, their friendship never seems to miss a beat.

Kim Beamon

Bridesmaid

Kim and Maddy went to high school together when they were young and foolish, and Maddy is so happy to have been able to reconnect now that they are both (debatebly) more mature. Kim has been a constant pillar, and organizer of events that get Maddy and Scotty's a**es out of the house. She is enthusiastic and the life of the party, and Maddy has been so happy to have another board-game lover in her life. Both the bride and groom thank Kim for all she does to get them to go out and live life a little more, and thank her for being a part of their special day!

Nate Jochum

Groomsman

Another of Maddy's high-school acquaintances turned friend, Nate has become one of Scotty's closest friends as well through their shared love of spooky stories, silly memes, and brown beers. Nate may or may not be able to make it to the ceremony due to a being part of a super secret military training (TY4YS Nate) but we still wanted to shout him out here because he has become such an important part of our lives.

AnnaPurna Beavon

Bridesmaid

Maddy and Anna met in college in a booze filled haze (if you are part of Maddy or Scotty's family, then this is a joke). Anna has been with Maddy through thick and thin, and their friendship always picks right up where it left off when Anna is back from her many adventures (whitewater rafting, skiing, living abroad). Being one of Maddy's best and most fun-sized friends, Anna will likely be able to be found head-banging on the dance floor like there's no tomorrow.

Hamza Farah (aka Uno)

Officiant

The music-loving ring-leader/enabler of the group. Maddy and Hamza are close friends from highschool. While they drifted apart when Maddy moved away, Maddy was overjoyed when he reached back out to rekindle their friendship. Since then, Hamza sees Maddy and/or Scotty almost weekly between vinyl nights at the brewery local to where Maddy and Scotty lived in Ballard, poker nights, and various concerts/events. Voted most charismatic in a recent select poll, the bride and groom were overjoyed that he wanted to be such an important part of their special day.
