FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure an intimate celebration, we are only able to include the guests listed on the RSVP. We greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness and understanding.

Question

What if my guest is not listed on the invitation or RSVP?

Answer

While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, our ceremony will be limited to the guests formally invited. If a name is not listed on the invitation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate their attendance.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all who will attend RSVP by March 13th. If we do not receive a response by March 13th, we will mark you as not attending. If you change your mind, please give us a call so we can contact the chapel and restaurant to make sure there is a seat for you.

Question

When should I plan on arriving in South Carolina?

Answer

The ceremony will take place Monday afternoon. To ensure a smooth and stress-free morning, we kindly ask that everyone plan to arrive no later than Sunday night.

Question

Will I be able to take pictures during thr ceremony?

Answer

Please note that our ceremony will be completely unplugged. We want our photographer to capture every special moment and, most importantly, for you to be fully present with us. We kindly ask that you arrive at the chapel by 1:00 PM, allowing time to take photos of the scenery and the chapel beforehand. Once the officiant begins the processional, we ask that all phones be put away. Please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We trust our photographer to capture the day beautifully, and above all, we are so grateful to share this moment with you fully present by our side.

Question

Will there be transportation to the chapel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided for the ceremony, so we kindly ask that all guests plan to arrive directly at Pretty Place Chapel by 1:00 PM. This will give you plenty of time to take in the beautiful views and get settled before the ceremony begins. Afterward, we’ll gather at Ink & Ivy to celebrate the newlyweds with a special dinner. We can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! For our wedding, we’re embracing the beauty of spring with soft colors and floral patterns. We kindly ask that guests wear formal attire and are welcome to incorporate spring tones that complement our theme. Typically, this means a suit for gentlemen and a floor-length or mid-length dress for ladies. For inspiration, search “Garden Formal.”
