Although we are getting married in River Falls, Wisconsin, it is a short drive to Stillwater, Minnesota. This lovely place is a quaint town with a lot of history. We recommend a walk down Main Street in the evening with dessert in hand!
Nelson's Ice Cream
920 Olive Street West, Stillwater, MN 55082, (651) 430-1103
The best ice cream in Minnesota (we're biased). Get the child size and split it because the portions are huge. Or try to finish the Lumberjack size (and please send us pictures of that fiasco).
Dock Cafe
425 Nelson Street East, Stillwater, MN 55082, (651) 430-3770
Nick and Maddy celebrated their first anniversary here right before Nick proposed. Patio seating available! The Riverside Duo with honey-roasted turkey and herbed brie on cranberry wild rice bread along with wild rice soup is a must.
Tremblay's Sweet Shop
308 Main Street South, Stillwater, MN 55082, (651) 430-0087
Nick enjoys the cola bottle gummies. The chocolate-dipped strawberries are pretty great too.
Stillwater Trolley Co.
