We had our first college class together at Wartburg & many more after that. Jonah always needed a little help getting caught up on homework so he came to me. We became pretty great friends in college, and after Jonah graduated he moved out to Colorado to teach. I still had 1 year left at Wartburg, and was moving to Denver to student teach. Jonah called to see if I wanted to get together for a beer, and the rest is history!

Jonah proposed at our favorite weekend getaway, Turtle Rock, in Buena Vista Colorado. During the school year, we loved to relax and spend our weekends at a campground nearby. Sometimes we would enjoy our morning coffee with a beautiful view of Mt. Princeton, and the sound of the Arkansas river below. It was here I said YES and we were engaged. Our friends Michael, Megan, and Andrew were there to capture the moment and celebrate with us. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. We will see you in Salida!!
