Getting to White Plains from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) By Train / Public Transportation (Bus + Subway + Metro-North) Please note: There is no direct train from LaGuardia Airport. All public transit routes will take you through Grand Central Terminal. From LaGuardia Airport, follow signs for MTA Buses and take the M60-SBS bus toward Manhattan / Harlem. Get off at 125th Street, then take the subway downtown to Grand Central–42nd Street or continue via transit directions to reach Grand Central Terminal. At Grand Central Terminal, follow signs for Metro-North Railroad. Take the Metro-North Harlem Line heading north to White Plains Station.
