Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children, however due to venue restrictions, children will not be welcome at the ceremony or reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We'd love everyone to dress up in cocktail attire.

Will transportation be provided to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

YES! We will have buses leave from downtown Beaufort to take you to our ceremony on Dataw Island. We highly recommend you utilize the buses as Uber/Lyft will not be allowed onto Dataw Island. The bus will depart from Safe Harbor Marina no later than 3:40 PM. Address: 1006 Bay St, Beaufort, SC 29902. The bus will then bring you back to Safe Harbor Marina after the reception (10 PM).

Where should I stay?

Answer

We've set up hotel blocks (see the Travel tab of our wedding website), otherwise check out Airbnb and VRBO for additional options. Fripp Island is a 20 minute drive to the venue, but beachfront if you're looking for a beachy place to stay.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Dataw Island will have signage that directs you directly to the clubhouse parking lot. However, we recommend you utilize the buses we provide for transportation to and from the ceremony/reception.

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Weather depending of course, but we plan on having the ceremony outdoors, with an indoor cocktail hour and reception.

What color is the bridal party wearing?

Answer

The bridal party will be in dark navy, long dresses.

We know that many are unfamiliar with the venue and Beaufort. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom!
