We're getting married!

Through the combined efforts of their mutual friends, Maddy and Darian met on a Delta Gamma Grab-A-Date in 2013 - Darian as Maddy's date. They continued to get to know each other through their Sophomore and Junior years and the University of Washington before starting dating at the end of their Junior year. They have swapped jokes, movies, and music, including attending concerts with friends and each other, travelling throughout the country, as well as hitting the local mountains with their pup Pinta. They have been living in the Mukilteo area in their seafoam green rambler since 2021 and enjoy mowing the lawn, working on small watercraft, and designing stickers.

Aunt Jane has been bringing Maddy and her siblings to Roslyn since they were young. Having spent time there for Memorial Day weekend, ski trips, winter, spring, and summer getaways, Roslyn has been just far enough way and close to the mountains to get out of the city and enjoy nature. Maddy introduced her friends to the area and they have been coming out since, for hikes, camping, scouting, and morel hunting. It is the best kind of escape and easiest way to live life as if you're in a movie, or TV show! We are so excited for you all to experience Roslyn and celebrate with us!

Roslyn was used as the backdrop for the cult classic TV series, "Northern Exposure", a comedy-drama set in the rural fictional town of Cicely, Alaska. Much of the show was filmed throughout the city and inside the existing buildings of Roslyn, including the Brick, Logan's, and the Northwest Coal Miners building.
