Please RSVP here on our Zola website. Pay attention to how many "plus ones" you have on your invitation. If you received an invitation for your entire family please RSVP with how many members of the family will be attending so we can account for everyone when making the final headcount for dinner, drinks, etc.
There are a few options the two main ones are Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU) and Pitt- Greenville Airport (PGV). RDU will have more flight options at better prices, however it is around an hour and thirty mins from Washington NC. PGV will be more expensive but is around 25 mins from Washington.
While uber is very prevalent in Raleigh and Greenville, they are not widely available in Washington NC. Once you are in the small town of Washington, everything is within walking distance and you will not need a car. But, we advise planning ahead and schedule transportation to and from the airport. The most convenient mode of transportation would be to rent a car to get you to and from the airport. There is also a local Washington cab company that is listed in the "Travel" section of our website. Per google there are also other car services that may be available to book. We apologize for the inconvenience of transportation to and from the airport, but we promise once you arrive in Washington you are going to love the charming town on the water and will be able to walk to everything!
Yes, there will be a shuttle transporting guests to and from the welcome party on Friday August 29th, and to and from the church/reception on Saturday August 30th. Look for shuttle times on the itinerary card that will be in your hotel room when you arrive! There will also be a schedule posted here on the website as we get closer to wedding weekend!
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening with us!
Black Tie Optional. For women, black-tie dress code means a full-length dress. For men, the black-tie dress code means a tuxedo or dark colored suit.
The weather in Washington in August can be very hot. Plan on low 80s during the day and high 70s at night. The ceremony will be in the comfort of the air-conditioned church and the reception will be under plenty of shade as we go into the evening.
Yes there is parking at the church and there is also parking a few blocks away from the reception on Short Drive.
