Accommodation bookings will open in November. We recommend reserving your room before the end of 2025, as availability will later be released to external guests. We have already provided the venue with our suggested room allocations. When you reach out to the hotel directly, they will be able to guide you on the recommended arrangements and confirm your reservation. Food will be provided to all guests on the Tuesday evening, Wednesday afternoon/ evening and Thursday morning. Complimentary Drinks: Champagne, Wine, Beer, and soft drinks will be provided free of charge on event dates. Additional Beverages: A paid bar will be available for spirits and cocktails.
There is a restaurant / bar in the Golf Clubhouse which only serves lunches, so keep this in mind if you are planning on staying longer than the 3 days. Breakfast is served in the Old Castle and can be pre-booked the night before at reception. (Our Brunch on the Thursday will be held in the Clubhouse)
As the hotel is in a very isolated location, it is advised to hire a car, especially if you are staying longer than the 2/3 nights for the wedding. The nearest town Excideuil is an 8 minute drive with shops and restaurants. Aldi is the nearest supermarket 5 minutes from the venue
Formal Attire - summer dresses, suits. We appreciate it is going to be hot, parasols will be provided for shade.
As we are having an abroad wedding, we appreciate the time, effort and expense involved in being a part of our day. For this reason, we ask that you do not bring or send any gifts. We're really grateful to be able to celebrate with you all <3
