The Wedding Website of Madeleine Dunn and Brandon Rosenblum
Welcome! Below you can find a detailed description suggested travel options reach our venue. Happy traveling!

Flight

We suggest flying into Rome (FCO) or Florence (FLR)

Most large airports will have direct flights to Rome, but if you prefer to get as close as possibly via plane, you can easily transfer to Florence. We usually fly a red eye from New York, so you have the full next day to settle in.

Train

Italy has many train options from the Rome Airport, Florence Airport, and both city centers.

Trains in Italy are super easy and many of them are high speed! We will suggest some train paths when we get closer to the wedding weekend, but they do need to be booked at least a day or two ahead of time to ensure they don't sell out, and best part is, you will choose your seats. You can book via app, website, or if you have the time, by going direct to one of the machines in any of the stations. To note, there are multiple train companies in Italy and you can only ride the one you booked through. You can get trains from the Rome Airport, Florence Airport, or via transfer through the city centers to connect to Siena. From there, you will be able to get a taxi (or Uber) directly to the venue.

Rental Car

If trains are not your thing...Renting a car at any airport is very easy!

If you want to live your Italian Red Fiat dreams, then driving between Italian cities is similar to the US. There is good signage and Google Maps won't steer you wrong. Plus, there is parking on site at the Villa and Farmhouses, and it's lovely to drive through the Tuscan countryside! It truly is the best way to see all the small medieval towns along the way. Now, a word of warning - while renting a car and driving BETWEEN cities is simple, the teensy little ancient streets in Rome or Florence may cause you some trouble. In many Italian city centers, driving streets are also pedestrian streets, and Google Maps can get confused while in between all those stone buildings. So, if you do want to rent a car - and at any time want to spend the day in Florence or Rome, we would suggest finding a parking garage right outside the city, where there's less chaos.

House Or Rental

Farmhouses At Villa di Monaciano

The Villa is on the hill of a very large, working Chianti vineyard. In addition to the Villa itself, the larger property hosts 4 large farmhouses, which are arranged in an apartment style. We have included a section of the website specifically for more information on the farmhouses, as we will be asking you all to confirm if you would like to stay on property. The expected cost per person will be $200-300 per person for the entire three-day weekend.

Hotel

Grand Hotel Continental Siena - Starhotels Collezione

85 Via Banchi di Sopra, Siena, Toscana 53100, Italy

As another option to the Farmhouses on property, we have suggested a stay at the beautiful Grand Continental in the Siena City Center. If you choose to stay here, we will be sure to arrange a shuttle for the wedding day.

Hotel

Hotel NH Siena

1 Via La Lizza, Siena, Toscana 53100, Italy

Finally, if you would prefer another option to stay in the Siena city center, we recommend the NH Siena. If you choose to stay here, we will be sure to arrange a shuttle for the wedding day.
