Halcyon, a Hotel in Cherry Creek

The Halcyon is where we will be staying! In the center of the upscale Cherry Creek neighborhood, it is the location of Friday's rooftop welcome party and Sunday's farewell breakfast. It's also two blocks from the after-party and a 15-minute walk to the rehearsal dinner. The Halcyon is a five-minute drive to the wedding venue and offers a chic location with easy access to great shopping and lots of local hot spots like the Cherry Cricket, Local Jones, and Forget Me Not. Guests staying at The Halcyon will receive a discounted king-bedded room rate of $275 plus taxes/fees, along with complimentary espresso beverages throughout the day, beer/wine each evening, WiFi throughout the property, access to the rooftop pool/deck, fitness center, and the Gear Garage – containing all the items needed to make some adventure memories while in Colorado. If you want a double queen-bedded room, please call the Halcyon for assistance (Kira Cattand at 720-772-5015 is our room coordinator) and mention the Schwartz-Sauer wedding. It’s a $10 nightly upgrade for a two-queen room. Courtyard by Marriott - Denver Cherry Creek

This Marriott Courtyard hotel is a 10–15 minute drive from the "downtown" Cherry Creek events, the Halcyon hotel, and the wedding venue. NOTE: The discounted rates are available from Friday, July 26th to Monday, July 29th and must be reserved by Wednesday, June 26th. If you would like to arrive early or stay late, please contact the hotel directly and reference the “Schwartz-Sauer Wedding” block.

Moxy Denver Cherry Creek

The Moxy is another option for guests looking to be in the heart of downtown Cherry Creek. It is a couple of blocks from the after party, the Friday night and Sunday morning events at the Halcyon Hotel, and a 15-minute walk to the rehearsal dinner. Note: there is no hotel block or wedding rate for the Moxy.

Shuttle

Motor coaches from hotels to the Botanic Gardens

July 27, 2024 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm

Transportation from hotels to the venue and back on the day of the wedding will be provided. Starting around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, coaches will pick up guests at both the Halcyon and Marriott Courtyard Cherry Creek. At the end of the night, we will have two different rounds of buses taking guests back to the two hotels. If you are staying at any of the hotels in downtown Cherry Creek area, you should have no problem walking to and from the bus pickup location. Note: the Marriot Courtyard is about a 10-minute drive from "downtown" Cherry Creek.

Uber/cab information

For guests flying into Denver International Airport, Ubers and taxis are very easy to come by and are a good option to get from the airport to your hotel. The ride length should be around 30-40 minutes. When in the city, traveling by Uber and cabs is an easy option as well. If you plan to extend you trip or want to travel while you're in town, renting a car might be a better route for you!
