Alex and Maddy met at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019. Alex graduated in 2019 and stayed in Madison for work while Maddy finished school. She graduated in 2021 and got a job offer in New York City, and the two moved there together. They spent four amazing years in the big city building their lives together, spending time with old and new friends, traveling, and adopting their perfect, tail-less cat, Franklin. In November 2024, Alex proposed during a gorgeous sunrise in Aruba — a picture perfect way to enter the fiancée era. Most recently, the two moved to Austin, Texas this past summer and have enjoyed this huge transition and opportunity to live somewhere new. Alex and Maddy can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day with all of their family and friends, and look forward to this next chapter!
