We were friends first and met while playing rugby in college. We're not sure the exact moment; it was all kind of a blur. I guess $2 Long Islands and Jameson shots at The Middy will do that to you.

Putting together IKEA furniture and painting Maddy's room in her first Minneapolis apartment. Pizza and beer were provided.

On the main street of St. Anthony Main, overlooking the Minneapolis skyline and the Mississippi River, Tony surprised Maddy and got down on one knee. We were meeting for a casual date night of dinner and a movie. But instead of a random Wednesday in August, it turned out to be a date we will never forget. Thank you to the sisters, Emily Bauer and Katie Cocca, for helping Tony create and capture the perfect surprise and all of Maddy's happy (ugly) crying. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
