How did we meet?

2019

Ahhh, one of our favorite questions! Have you ever heard of the “invisible string” , or the “Meet Them Twice” theory? We believe we are a prime example of such things! We had initially met each other our sophomore year while attending Pine Bush High School. We first met when we were 15 years old during our film photography class (shoutout Mrs. Trad). Hailey was the loud one, always chatting it up with someone, and Spencer was the more reserved and laid back one. 2 years later, during our senior year of highschool, we shared the same english teacher (Mrs. Wright). Spencer was handing in an assignment he had due-during Hailey’s class. Hailey, with her loud mouth, said to a friend of hers that she thought Spencer was so cute and couldn’t believe he was single! A mutual friend of both Hailey and Spencer overheard this conversation, letting Spencer know that Hailey was interested. Lo and behold, Spencer reached out to Hailey later that day, and asked her to hangout! Our first date was on February 8th, 2019. We got burgers and milkshakes! We instantly became friends and got to know each other throughout our senior year of highschool! After graduating highschool, the both of us (not planned) moved to Florida! With a little bit of distance between us (1.5 hours) we made it work! We would take turns going back and forth to each others homes, now 7+ years later-here we are, GETTING MARRIED! The ``Meet Them Twice'' theory explains that if someone is meant to be in your life, you'll cross paths again. The “Invisible String” theory is a belief that everyone is connected to someone by an unbreakable string that transcends time, distance, and geography. The theory suggests that people are destined to find each other, and that this relationship is not determined by choice. We are truly blessed to have met eachother twice, and we really believe that even if that didn’t happen- we would have probably reached out to each other after moving to Florida. <3 Praise God!
