FAQs

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with all of our favorite people! If your invitation includes “and guest,” you’re welcome to bring a plus-one. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy a fun night out with us — thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors at the mansion, with the cocktail hour & reception taking place indoors. Think polished yet relaxed — we picture long or midi dresses in colorful tones and dress shirts with slacks or suits for men. Heels may sink in the grass, so we recommend block heels or flats. This dress code is simply a suggestion — we want everyone to feel comfortable and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a discounted room block at the Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Airport. You can find all the booking details under the “Travel” tab. A shuttle will also be running between the hotel and the wedding venue for your convenience.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration will go on! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved inside the mansion.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is available on-site, but overnight parking isn’t allowed. If you’ll be drinking, we recommend using a rideshare like Uber or Lyft. Guests staying at the Holiday Inn Airport can also hop on the shuttle to and from the wedding.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You bet! The drinks are on us all night — we can’t wait to raise a glass (or two) with you!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 12, 2026.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

We’ll miss you! Please RSVP “no” as soon as you can so that we can plan accordingly.
