FAQs

Question

How is the day going to work?

Answer

We have split our wedding into three parts; The Ceremony, The Dinner & The Party. Please response accordingly to your individual RSVPs so we know who will be with us on our big day. We unfortunately cannot extend Dinner and Party invitations to all due to limited space, but we are so excited to see everyone there for the church ceremony. Please ensure you are fully aware of what your invitations say. We hope you are able to join us! It is a wonderful occasion and demonstration of God's love and we are so excited to share it with our loved ones.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage wedding appropriate outfits that are mindful of the weather. Women: Dresses, fascinators (if you would like!). No jeans, t-shirts or denim. Men: Suits and shirts. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts or denim. Colours: Pinks, greens, yellow, navy, orange, purple etc.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If it hasn’t been specified please message James or Maddison. Please note parts of this wedding will be smaller, so we will accommodate where we can but please respect any decision that are made.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We would love if you brought your children along who are able to sit through the service. There are spaces to take young babies or children who need a quiet room. We are keeping the evening 18+ only but would love for children to join during the ceremony.

Question

What can we get you as a gift?

Answer

We are so grateful you’re even thinking of giving us a gift! We have set up a Wedding Gifts page and on there you can find a link to a separate registry site. On there we have set up a cash fund to put towards our honeymoon or if it is easier for bank transfers/ cash please let us know. We are just so grateful to have you there! - https://prezola.com/buy/view/248008

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the church 30-45 minutes beforehand to find a seat, say hello to James, take some pictures and meet each other. We ask you to fill up from the front, leaving the front row for the wedding party. Please be sat by 13:50pm. There are no bride or groom sides so please mingle and introduce yourselves!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is on street parking within the Crouch End area. Parking is not free from two till four due to school hours, but it can be paid for during those hours in certain spaces. Please note the school street restrictions apply from Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 09:30 and 14:30 - 15:30. During these times you cannot drive into certain roads but if parked there already can stay. Please refer to the Haringey School Streets site for exact wording. If no spaces are available within the immediate vicinity from the church, on street parking does extend around the area. We recommend staying within the top end of the Crouch End area if possible due to a shorter walk time and to avoid walking up the hill from Priory Park directions. There are private spaces on Just Park within the area also. Using the app, you can find spaces for the day. We encourage car sharing for those traveling from Milton Keynes/ surrounding areas as not everyone drives. Please message James or Maddison if you have spaces to offer. Public transport is also available if not possible: - If travelling from Euston, get on the Northern Line to Archway. From there the 41 bus operates and can drop you 2-3 minutes from the church. The best option is to check Google maps when travelling to see the quickest bus. Taxis, bolts and Ubers are also available and shouldn't cost too much. - Please note the buses can be unreliable at times, so give plenty of time to accommodate for this.

Question

Can I stay in the area afterwards?
