The first time Edward and Madi met was back in 2017 when they both coincidentally got the same part time job at a pizza place called Uncle Maddio's Pizza. Maddison was attending college at UCF and decided to get a part time job on the side while Edward had just moved back from living in Boston for a few years and was starting life over in Orlando soul searching for what he wanted to do next. What Edward didn't know was that he would find his soul mate, and Madi would instantly fall head over heels when they first met (fun fact: Madi was so nervous she gave him a high five instead of a handshake when they first met - so embarrassing). After 3 months of building a friendship, they started dating on June 27, 2017. Since that time, they've adopted 3 cats and 1 dog, graduated from college, moved in together, and had many different job and life changes. In July 2022, Edward and Madi decided to take a chance on a new journey together and opened their own coffee business called Lucid Beans Coffee Co. They say don't get into business with your partner if you want to stay together; in truth, the business definitely tested our relationship similar to going canoeing with your partner, but for us it was ultimately this test that brought us closer and made us stronger. We said yes to forever on December 11, 2023 while drifting into the first sunset of the rest of our lives together.
