Bride
Maddison has loved Dylan since she was 18 years old. Moving to Alabama to be with him in the summers, spending countless hours on Skype when they were long distance, and annoying, pestering, & loving him more than anything. Maddison's favorite thing about Dylan is that he doesn't always let her be right, and (sometimes) tells her no. Because well, someone has to.
Groom
Dylan met Maddison the summer of his freshman year in college. Back home for the summer, he unexpectedly fell in love. What followed next were frequent six hour drives back home during the weekends just to be with her. Dylan's favorite thing about Maddison is that she helps him focus on the bigger pictures in life. Making him stop and enjoy the simple things, distracting him from his worries and living in the moment.
Mom's Best Man
Louie is without a doubt Maddison's best friend. He is her COVID baby that is attached to her hip. Louie is a trooper and came from a rough background before being rescued and becoming the most spoiled boy in the greater STL area. Dylan and Maddison rescued Louie in Huntsville, Alabama which holds a huge part of both of their hearts.
Dad's Best Man
The story behind how Maddison and Dylan got Lazer is truly meant to be. Maddison wanted him for 6 months with Dylan saying no until Lazer got adopted on her birthday. Heartbroken, Dylan finally agreed they could get a second dog. That same time Lazer was returned to the pound and Maddison finally got the dog she wanted. It only took a few weeks for Lazer to become Dylan's best boy and for Maddison and Dylan to learn why he got taken back to the pound.
Maid of Honor
There is rarely a best friend duo like that of Megan and Maddison. Megan is one of the most selfless people that Maddison has ever met, even letting Maddison become a part of her family when she needed it. Being roommates in high school and college the pair are sure to bicker more than anything, but there may never be a person more important to Maddison. You rarely hear Maddison call Megan anything other than her sister, because to her they stopped being friends and became family a long time ago.
Officiant
Nate gets the important title of officiant as he has been one of the most important people in BOTH Maddison and Dylan's lives. From knowing Dylan since they were 3, to meeting Maddison in high school and later being her college roommate. Nate is one of the only reasons Maddison and Dylan ever started dating. And for that the couple will always be thankful for him.
Maid of Honor
As many know Lauren is, without question, the brides little sister. (At least Maddison loves her as one.) From living in the Ingold house and meeting Lauren as a little girl, to playing soccer with her in high school, and then becoming her sorority sister, the pair have done a ton together. Maddison spends the majority of her days on the phone, giving advice, or worrying about the only blonde in the Ingold family, but loves every minute of it.
Best Man
Max and Dylan first met when Maddison introduced me to her group of friends from college. However it wasn't until Dylan moved back home from college that their friendship really started. A summer float trip really kicked off their friendship and since then they have become best friends. Max and Dylan can often be found playing roller hockey on Sunday nights.
Bridesmaid
Clara was Maddison's first sorority friend, and quickly became one of the best she would ever know or have. She made Maddison grow out of her shell and helped her learn a lot about life and being confident in being herself. Some would say Clara cursed Maddison her first few weeks of sorority life, but Maddison would never change a thing. Now you can see Maddison and Clara spending their days watching Max and Dylan play hockey.
Groomsman
Parker has been one of Dylan's childhood best friends for as long as they can remember. Doing everything with each other as kids from camping at Carlyle lake to playing Call of Duty all night long. They go together like sugar and insulin. Parker is well on his way to a successful medical career as he grinds away through the long and tough journey of med school in Chicago.
Bridesmaid
Maddison's college roommate and sorority sister. Anna and Maddison quickly connected after moving in with each other on a whim in college, they quickly connected over their dislikes in life and became inseparable as they were there for each other while both in long distance relationships. Once COVID happened and the pair no longer lived together this did not stop trips to Kentucky to visit or them finding time to gossip daily. Anna moved to St. Louis not long after much to Maddison's delight and you can now catch the pair at Spin class each week.
Groomsman
Another one of Dylan's childhood best friends, Aaron has always shared a lot of similar interests with Dylan. Both are engineers, and love the Blues. They have many memories together from when they were kids organizing boxing matches in his basement all the way to the present day partying on Mardi Gras. Aaron was also the only groomsman Maddison and Dylan fought over...not because Maddison didn't want him in the wedding but because he should be a bridesman. Maddison and Aaron quickly became best friends after both going to SIUE, she really doesn't know what she would ever do without him.
Bridesmaid
The second M of the M&M pair in the family. Mallory is Maddison's younger cousin, but has always been more of a sister, and biggest pain in the butt. Maddison used to hate always having to match Mallory, hang out with her all the time, or babysit. Recently, the roles have been reversed and Mallory seems to be taking all of that on and Maddison secretly misses when her little cousin used to want to be just like her. Mallory is slowly growing up and Maddison can't wait to see who she becomes in college and after that. Soon you will see Maddison cheering her on as Mallory plays college softball and visiting her more than Mallory will like.
Groomsman
George is Maddison's cousin-but you rarely hear her call him anything but her little brother. When Dylan asked George to be a groomsman his response was: "Does that mean I'm his only friend?" which Maddison still laughs about frequently. While he may not be Dylans only friend, Maddison has always seen Georgie as her built in best friend and essentially her brother. Even though they fight more than anything else, there are few people who mean as much to Maddison as Georgie does.
Bridesmaid
The cool thing about marrying someone you've been dating with since you were a teenager is being able to see their little siblings grow up. When Maddison and Dylan started dating Lilli was just 12. In the past few years Maddison has regarded Lilli much as she would her own siblings, loving her and being annoyed by her just as equally. Now Lilli will be a freshman in college soon, just as Maddison was when they first met. While Lilli never listens to Maddison, literally never, Maddison can't wait to continue seeing her grow into an amazing woman.
Groomsman
Kyle grew up with Dylan until his family moved to Florida in sixth grade. One of Dylan's childhood best friends, they found ways to keep in contact. In addition to talking to each other on Xbox frequently, they would also plan trips during the summers to visit each other. Kyle has a natural ability to connect with others and his charismatic personality can liven any room he is in.
Bridesmaid
For the first few years of friendship Maddison thought that Allison did not like her, which gladly Allison will say was not true. Allison and Maddison met through dphie, and instantly Maddison looked up to Allison. Allison is extremely confident, true to herself, and speaks up for what is right. On top of all of this, Allison is truly her friends biggest fans and always makes them feel important. Maddison is so thankful for their short time in the sorority together, and for the fact that Allison puts up with her even when she wants to go out all night or walk across the city in the freezing cold. Allison from the start has been one of Dylan's favorite people as well.
Groomsman
Derek became friends with Maddison when they moved into the same hallway their freshman year of college. It quickly became the type of friendship where no matter how long they went between talking they were always close. After college Derek moved into an apartment down the street from Maddison & Dylan. Derek and Dylan quickly became friends. This led to Derek always joining M&D on shopping trips, at dinners, and being a short walk to Soulard means that they frequently are finding themselves out late at the bars. Derek and Dylan also enjoy going to Tuesday night movies at the AMC.
Bridesmaid
If you have ever looked at Madeline Dashney you can understand why for all of college people got Maddison and Madeline mixed up, and their names don't help either. While their personalities could not be more different the pair quickly became a duo that never separated, and were commonly called twins. Maddison knows wholeheartedly that she could not have gotten through dphie or life without MadDash and is so thankful to call her one of her best friends.
Usher
Lane is one of Maddison's youngest cousins and you can for sure tell. While being the biggest pain in the family (no question), one who always gets his way and never in trouble, but also being one of the favorites for everyone, including Maddison. Maddison has always looked at Lane like her favorite brat and one of her favorite family members. Like most of her cousins, she treats him like another little brother and loves him more than anything. Dylan has also become a big fan of Lane over the years, but mainly because his Christmas present of "just soda" is always the easiest & cheapest.
Bridesmaid
Kylee became Maddison's little sister over a decade ago when their parents married. In the beginning Kylee annoyed the crap out of Maddison and made her question wanting a little sister, over time Maddison started to love having the annoyance. Kylee has quickly grown into a beautiful young woman, and Maddison is so excited to see what she does following in her footsteps as a SIUE freshman this upcoming fall, and hopefully a soon to be DPHIE legacy.
Usher
Maddison's younger step brother and one of the Usher's of the wedding. William hasn't been in Maddison's life forever but it frequently seems that way as they bicker like life long siblings. Any one and everyone knows that Maddison would do anything for her siblings and loves them all immensely. She now gets to see William working, growing up, and becoming a whole grown adult being proud as can be along the way.
Official Dog Wrangler
Matthew is the youngest of all of Maddison's siblings. Matthew was born when Maddison was in 6th grade and they had a very unique bond despite being so many years apart. Maddison and Matthew have not lived together for the majority of their lives but their bond rarely changes. Dylan has also been a huge fan of Matthew since meeting him when Matthew was only 6, and now spending time with him whenever they can being states away.
