Getting to the Midland Hotel: - From Amtrak Union Station: A quick 7-minute walk to the hotel. - From Midway Airport: Take the Orange Line to the Quincy stop, just steps from the hotel. - From O’Hare Airport: Take the Blue Line to the Monroe stop, followed by a 6-minute walk to the hotel. - Driving: If you're driving, please refer to the parking garage listed on our Hotel page for convenient parking options.
The Welcome Party will take place indoors with the option to venture onto the rooftop for city views or gather around the fire-pit tables. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable celebrating in— anything from dressy casual to semi-formal attire is perfect.
We suggest Uber/Lyft for both events. Rideshares are plentiful in the city. Both locations are about a 15-minute ride from the hotel.
We invite you to dress up with us for our special day! Our wedding calls for formal attire. Ladies, think floor or mid-length dresses, or opt for a chic pantsuit. Gentlemen, we look forward to seeing you in a classic suit and tie.
Please arrive by 4:30 PM to enjoy welcome refreshments and comfortably find your seat before the ceremony begins.
Our ceremony will take place outdoors at The Carter, with cocktail hour and reception continuing inside immediately afterward.
Our wedding venue offers on-site parking with an attendant, as well as free street parking. Please note that cars cannot be left in the on-site parking lot overnight, but may remain parked on the street. We highly recommend using rideshare services (Uber/Lyft), which are readily available. The venue is only about a 15-minute drive from our hotel block.
Our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration!
