We're getting married!

Though Tyler and Madison had seen each other briefly beforehand, they didn't truly meet until early 2016, right as their last semester of high school began. It happened by chance that they were both at the YMCA gym at the same time - Madison had to rush there for an appointment right after work, and it wasn't the usual time Tyler and his best friend Tanner went, either. They both noticed each other immediately but were too shy to approach one another. It was Tyler's friend Tanner who walked over to say hello, since he was also best friends with Madison's brother, Max, and so friends with Madison as well. Neither Tyler nor Maddie said anything to each other during the exchange, both thinking the other was out of their league. Afterwards, Tyler was amazed as to how Tanner was friends with that beautiful red-headed girl. He was even more floored to learn it was the twin sister of one of his buddies, Max. That night, as Maddie was sitting in a Starbucks working on her Chemistry homework, her phone dinged. To her complete surprise and delight, the incredibly good-looking Tyler Durden had asked her on a date. She said yes immediately, of course. They met the next day at a Mexican restaurant and talked for hours. Tyler knew then that he was never going to be the one to leave. It took Maddie a few more months to catch on that he liked her, and by then she was already in love!
