Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 14.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 2:45pm. Kingsland Bay is in the town of Ferrisburgh, about 30 minutes away from the Burlington area where many guests will be staying.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No! Please wear whatever you would like. Whether that's a tuxedo or a t-shirt, that's fine by us.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Many people have asked about wedding gifts. Your presence is a gift in itself. We really appreciate all our friends and family travelling to celebrate with us, and that is the best gift we could ask for!

Question

Will there be a shuttle service to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! A free shuttle will be available. Guests will be picked up from the Best Western Plus Windjammer Inn at 1:30pm. Then, the shuttle will pick up guests at the Holiday Inn Express. Shuttle capacity is 50 people. One return trip will be available at 7pm and 9pm. Note: No alcohol allowed on the shuttle.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking at Kingsland Bay is free. We encourage people to use the free shuttle or carpool to the event and assign a designated driver.

Question

Do I need to pick a food option?

Answer

Food will be served buffet style. Please let us know in your RSVP if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. Dinner will be provided by Bluebird Barbecue!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar with beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

Question

What is the venue like?

Answer

Kingsland Bay State Park is a day-use park located on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain. The park holds 264 acres of grassy fields on the lakeside and features several historic buildings. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside, with reception to follow in the banquet hall. Please note that pets are not allowed at the park.
